The Ring

I mentioned before that we will be launching a new collection soon.

Here it is!

Beautiful and gorgeous rings made with semi-precious gemstones bezel set with the band and bezel made from sterling silver dipped in 24k solid gold.  The gemstones came out so beautifully and I’m liking how the color of the band turned out.  Most of the time silver dipped in gold usually turns out very yellowish gold.  Something I don’t quite feel like having.  But the color of this one turned out pretty pretty good.

Wear them on their own like this:

Or use several of them on your fingers like this:

Or stack them up one by one to create a whole new look!

All birthstone gemstones are available such as:

A Very Productive Weekend

My sister needed a gift for her boyfriend’s sister.  She requested me to make something for her.  I was not satisfied with just one, instead, I made these new earring pieces now available at my store:

Cinderella Sparkle earrings

Midnight Tears

Fire Tree

As you all are aware of by now, gold prices have gone up.  The price for these items are based on the old gold prices (read: very affordable).  When my stock runs up, I have no choice but to increase the price of my new items as well.

So what are you waiting for? 🙂

Sugar Plum

Turquoise originality needle wrapped in 10k solid gold wire.

The needles hang from 14k solid gold ear hooks with cubic zirconia focal in the most brilliant amethyst color.

Drop from top to bottom is 2 inches long.

Dangle earrings that is organic in construction but elegant and classic. The design makes it wearable during the day, while the cubic zirconia makes it formal to wear at night.

Now available in my shop.

Winter Iris

A lovely winter plant that blooms from December through March.

Petals of beautiful smooth kyanite briolettes woven together with 10k solid gold wire. The winter look is completed with a enigmatic opalite faceted briolette drop.

Measures approximately 1.75 inches from top to bottom.

Now available in my shop.

The Gift

Sometime ago I made these:

Focal rainbow jasper beads measuring 18mm and wrapped them with 10k solid gold wire.  The earhook was likewise handmade and handtwisted.  To give it an edge, I coiled its ends to form the hoop where I could insert the jasper beads.  The outcome of the piece looked like a small gift.  Thus the name.

Later on, a client sent me a message and asked if I could make one for her using sterling silver.  She wanted a pendant instead of a pair of earrings.  The challenge was creating the coil that gave its character.  After a few nights of recreating the design in my head, I came up with a final piece I truly truly am proud of:

That’s why I love to experiment!

A client wanted something big, but not too big. Round. With turquoise gemstones and definitely not a dangler. Something that can be worn during the day but classy enough for the evening.

A vague description with very little to work with. This is why I do not sketch any of my designs. I love to experiment and I like seeing my imagination run wild. Most of all, I try as much as possible to incorporate my signature designs to the client’s description.

Thus, the final product:

Gold prices are up!!!!!?!!!!

I went to my supplier today to buy my gold and silver wire. You see, whenever I go on buying sprees for my jewelry, I prepare a list of what to buy and only bring enough money.  Sometimes to the exact centavo.   I asked for the usual and almost had a heart attack when she rang up the bill!!!!

She explained that gold prices have increased internationally, and if gold goes up, so does silver.

Yikes!  I should have bought more during my last purchase, which was about two weeks ago!!!

I really panicked because there were other things I still needed to buy……

I panic!

Packages of beautiful stones arrived in the mail over the last two weeks and I instantly got excited!

As you can see I have agate, lots of chalcedony, carnelian, rock crystal, jasper, garnet, lucite and lots lots more.  This was my first purchase abroad (meaning: outside the Philippines).  The investment was more than what I usually spend on stones here, but the quality of these are way much better.

I can’t wait to execute the designs that are already crowding my head!

Here are some of what I made:

Everything is now available at my etsy shop.
