WordPress Theme Crisis

For those of you who are frequent readers here, you will notice the various  constant changes in my WordPress Theme….

The truth is, WordPress has a lot of nice themes to choose from and I have been enamored by all of them.  I have tried dark backgrounds thinking that it will help make the colors of my accessories and jewelry pop out.  Wrong.  First, my widgets were nowhere in sight and it was sooo dark! It turned out to be very heavy and too strong to the overall look of what the brand is all about.

So today, I braved the themes section and chose a more, light and airy theme.  I am not a techie kind of girl but when my widgets disappeared with my former theme, they somehow magically appeared!

I think I will stick to this theme from now on.  It is minimalism perfected!

It does not look complicated.

And most importantly, my photos seem to shine more.

That’s what’s important right? 🙂

So head on here to check out what I have in store 😉

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies in the world especially my mom who is as strong as ever and has never given up!

I love you, mom 🙂

To my bestest friend in the whole wide world!

Eventhough we’re miles apart,

Thoughts of you are in my heart.

Wherever I am, wherever I will be,

It’s because of who you are to me.

A lifetime spent is not enough,

To tell you how I truly feel.

Thankful.  Happy.  and Content.

Each time that is with you spent.

So in this special day of yours

I want to make one thing clear.

I love you! I love you forevermore

I love you, oh mother dear!

……HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOMMY! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH! ……..

Things to do this weekend

1.  Go to my supplier.  I’ve to get the stones for a wedding.  It’s a huge order so I think I’ll need two trips for this, plus I ran out of solid gold wire and earring posts.

2.  Visit my sister.  She’s going to borrow a few pieces for a premiere night.  I’m thinking of lending her the following:

3.  Make more of these:

4. Bond with the hubby and little one (Sunday is the househelp’s day off)

5.  Thank God for blessing me with so many beautiful things!

Happy Weekend everyone!

What got me started

It was March 2008.  The place where I work prepared a couple of month-long programs to celebrate Women’s Month.  One program I attended was an accessory-making seminar.  It was just a mere hour long activity which cost each participant Php 1,000 (USD 22) each for the registration and materials.  The trainers taught us to make simple stuff like a set of pearl necklace, bracelet and earrings.  Then as the saying goes, the rest is history.

Here are a few of my early projects:
