In the future, if you need a hollow you can shape it out of cork or paper paste (I prefer cork) let it dry overnight, and use that in place of the gem or void that will be part of the final design. It burns out easily with a torch at temps far below those that would harm the metals. I always love seeing someone “Self Taught” succeed!
